Classical Ballet
At our school, Classical Ballet is built on a strong technical and artistic foundation: classes follow the Vaganova Method, well-known for its harmonious use of the whole body, coherence of movement and precise lines. We enrich this approach with American and French stylistic influences thanks to our qualified faculty and masterclasses with guest teachers. This blend ensures an updated, versatile and comprehensive technical development.
Ballet training focuses on developing balance, symmetry, flexibility, and strength, while teaching students proper posture and the graceful use of the arms. It also emphasizes precise footwork, a long and centered torso, and the technical skills needed for pirouettes and jumps.
Beginners / Intermediate / Advanced
A progress from learning basic steps and coordination, to developing technique and expression, and finally to refining precision, artistry, and performance skills
From two to four times per Week
Attendance typically scheduled from two to four times per week, with adjustments made to fit each student’s personalized learning path
Character Dance
Within the classical division, Character Dance introduces students to steps inspired by folk and theatrical traditions, integrated with ballet technique. It enhances musicality, rhythm, stage expression, and stylistic versatility: energetic movements, distinctive port de bras, and an understanding that classical ballet also draws from culture and theatre, broadening stylistic awareness and interpretative skills.
Repertoire & Pas de Deux
For advanced students, classical technique classes are complemented by Repertoire and Pas de Deux training. This work refines execution quality, stage presence, understanding of ballet history and the unique dynamics of partner work. It is an inspiring opportunity for advanced and pre-professional dancers preparing for the stage and the professional world of classical ballet.
