Our History

Since 1964, the Scuola di Danza Ceron in Udine has been a regional benchmark for the art of dance, founded on expertise, professionalism, and a distinctive educational vision. With official recognition from the Italian Ministry of Education (M.I.U.R.), the school guides children and teenagers through a psycho-physical and artistic growth path, offering personalized programs that combine technique, creativity, and personal development.

Our integrated approach blends educational and professional training with practical experiences, from participation in performances, festivals, and competitions in Italy and abroad, to workshops, choreography residencies, and masterclasses with world-renowned artists and teachers. Students learn not only to refine their technique and style, but also to develop awareness, discipline, and a personal artistic voice.

Scuola di Danza Ceron opens doors to international opportunities: our students can continue their training at prestigious academies and schools worldwide, and many have successfully pursued careers in Italian and international companies and theaters, bringing our tradition of excellence across the globe. Passion, talent, and professionalism guide every step: each student receives individual attention, following a tailored path that accompanies them from their first discovery of movement to the full expression of their artistic potential. Scuola di Danza Ceron is more than a place of study: it is a community, a living history, and a springboard into the future.

Choreographic research and stage experience Atelier

The Scuola di danza Ceron in Udine hosted two choreographic research studios: Gruppo Stabile Udinese (1987), made up of young dancers mainly from Friuli Venezia Giulia, and Atelier enidUDanza (2001), a collective focused on the transmission of dance techniques and fostering experiential, cross-disciplinary exchange among authors and performers.

Both aimed to support and develop the study and stage experience of emerging and technically advanced dancers, as well as fostering artists in their exploration of movement languages through choreographic research, performances, residencies, and scholarships.
