At our school, Classical Ballet is built on a strong technical and artistic foundation: classes follow the Vaganova Method, well-known for its harmonious use of the whole body, coherence of movement and precise lines. We enrich this approach with American and French stylistic influences thanks to our qualified faculty and masterclasses with guest teachers. This blend ensures an updated, versatile and comprehensive technical development.
Ballet training focuses on developing balance, symmetry, flexibility, and strength, while teaching students proper posture and the graceful use of the arms. It also emphasizes precise footwork, a long and centered torso, and the technical skills needed for pirouettes and jumps.
Modern Dance offers an alternative expressive language rooted in early 20th-century pioneers such as Martha Graham, Lester Horton and José Limón. Students explore movement in depth: contractions, releases, strong lines, spinal twists and a personal connection to body and space.
Our courses strengthen control, body awareness and coordination, power, fluidity, elasticity and expressive sensitivity — embracing creativity and a contemporary approach beyond pure technique.
Contemporary dance encompasses a variety of techniques and movement vocabularies. Classes often explore floor work, spinal articulation, breath, alignment, phrase material, improvisation, and the dynamics of fall and recovery, while working with gravity to discover release and fluidity.
This approach encourages dancers to experiment, adapt, and shape energy, time, and space in creative ways. Contemporary dance fosters technical versatility, stage presence, and a unique artistic voice, offering each dancer the opportunity to develop a personal movement language and actively engage in the creative process.
