Eliana Donada
Creative Dance, Preparatory Dance and Classical Ballet
Classically trained dancer educated between Slovenia, France, and Italy, she built a solid academic and professional background in both classical and contemporary dance. After graduating from the Conservatory of Dance in Ljubljana, she worked with international companies and productions, gaining extensive experience in classical repertoire and neoclassical ballet.
Career Path
2006-2012
She began her classical dance studies at Studianzando and continued her training under the guidance of Margherita Mora. In 2012, she enrolled at the Conservatory of Dance in Ljubljana, where she studied classical technique, repertoire, contemporary and modern dance, historical and character dances, graduating in 2016 with the highest mark of 5/5. The following year, she attended the summer refinement course at the École Supérieure de Danse de Cannes Rosella Hightower in France.
2013
In 2013, she was selected by the Slovenian National Ballet of the Ljubljana Opera, under the direction of Irek Mukhamedov, to join the corps de ballet in major productions including Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, and Sleeping Beauty. Simultaneously, she was part of the MSB (Youth Slovenian Ballet) coordinated by Claudia Sovre.
2016
In 2016, she returned to Italy to join the Balletto di Verona Junior Company, directed by Eriberto Verardi and Anna Guetsman. Here she performed in both classical and neoclassical repertoire alongside renowned Principals and Soloists, including Nicoletta Manni, Vittoria Valerio, Marco Agostino, and Federico Fresi (Ballet of Teatro alla Scala, Milan); Vladimir Shishov (Wiener Staatsballett); Claudia D’Antonio and Salvatore Manzo (Ballet of Teatro San Carlo, Naples).
2020
In 2020, she joined the Gruppo Stabile Udinese (ADEB), led by Elisabetta Ceron, taking part in several productions choreographed by Massimo Gerardi, internationally recognized choreographer and director of Stadttheater Tanzcompagnie Görlitz-Zittau in Germany.
